The Torre del Mangia was built in 1338-1348. It is located in the Piazza del Campo, Siena's premier square, adjacent to the Palazzo Pubblico.

The Grimsby Dock Tower was designed by the British architect, James William Wild and was built under the supervision of the James Meadows Rendel, civil engineer. This hydraulic accumulator tower was completed on 27th March 1852. Approximately one million bricks were used in its construction.
