Title: Old Market Place, Grimsby
Author: Raphael Tuck & Sons Ltd

An October 2017 scan of an original c1955 photo postcard

St James' Church (now Grimsby Minster) is just to the right of the large tree. 'Lawson & Stockdale Ltd' (furnishers) is in the centre of the photo. Towards the right of the picture is a 'Food Office'. Does this relate to WWII and food rationing? On the tall building on the left, it says 'Maltby & Coates' and 'Hovis'. It also says 'Hovis' on the van.
