Title: WW2 Home Guard Lincoln Imp Sleeve Badge
Author: Paul M. Fenwick
Date: August 2014

Pale blue-green and khaki-brown, cloth shoulder badge worn by units of the Home Guard in Lincolnshire. It was unusual for pictorial designs to be worn in place of county designations and numbers.

Based on a little, stone devil perched high in the Angel Choir of Lincoln Cathedral, the imp is still an iconic symbol of Lincolnshire and Lincoln United FC.

An uncommon, original WW2 badge which has survived in excellent condition.
