Title: ARP Wardens in Gas Suits with Bells and Rattles
Author: Unknown / Paul Fenwick
Date: WWII era/ November 2016

The top photograph and the bell in the lower photo may not have Lincolnshire connections but the gass rattle was found under-the-stairs at a house in Roundway, Grimsby.

The rattle was made by B&E Ltd. in 1941 (and the bell was made by J.B. in 1939). When tested, both were still very loud!
