Title: | Tea Pot (Teapot) Hall, Dalderby |
Author: | Unknown |
Date: | May 2016 scan of a c1940 photo postcard |
Comments: | This unusual, small, triangluar cottage was built in C19 and was occupied until the 1920s, after which it fell into a state of disrepair. The cottage burnt down on 7th May 1945. Was it really set on fire by a group of airmen returing to RAF Coningsby from a night out in Horncastle to celebrate the end of WWII? Teapot Hall is still available as a miniature ornament from a well-known maker. |
