The huge parabolic dishes were once part of the Ace High NATO communications station at RAF Stenigot. The 4 giants were operational from the late 1950s until the 1990s and now lay sadly on the ground.

The last remaing of four World War 2 Home Chain radar station transmitter masts at RAF Stenigot. This original tower is 110 m (360 feet) high and is a grade 2 listed structure. It is still used by the MOD for for climbing aptitude training.
