Comments:

Scremby is a lovely, little village in the civil parish of Ashby with Scremby and is situated about 4 miles from Spilsby.

Scremby's C of E school was known as Scremby and Ashby C of E School from 1903-1935. The school closed in 1960. The building now appears to be a private house.

Interestingly, this postcard was posted in 1906 in Spilsby to a Mr Williams, Gumla, Ranchi, Bengal, India. In 1902, Gumla became a sub-division of Ranchi district.
